SALT LAKE CITY, UT, June 29, 2010 —
MediConnect Global Inc. today announced that the company has been named a winner of Red Herring's North America 100 Award, which honors the year's most promising private technology ventures in North America. Winners of the award were named at a Red Herring 100 North America awards ceremony Thursday, June 24, 2010.
The Red Herring editorial team selected the 100 most innovative companies from a large pool of companies across North America, in industries ranging from telecommunications and security to Web 2.0, software, hardware, biotech and clean tech. The nominees were evaluated according to both quantitative and qualitative criteria - including financial performance and health, technological innovation, strength of the management team, quality and execution of strategy, market size and customer acquisition. The selection team reviewed the nominees' actual track record and standing in their respective industries.

The winners of this year's Red Herring 100 North America were selected from a group of 200 finalists, following presentations of each finalist's winning strategy at the Red Herring North America Conference in San Diego, June 22-24, 2010.
