David Anderson

David’s experience dealing with the financial challenges of technology start-up companies provides insights that can be leveraged throughout the Signal Peak Ventures portfolio.

During his 11 year tenure with Ernst & Young’s High Technology practice in Silicon Valley and Salt Lake City, he worked with numerous venture backed companies, advising them through equity transactions and M&A activities. David has also lived in the start-up world, serving as chief financial officer to several early stage technology companies. David experienced first hand the challenges of raising venture capital, managing a growing business and negotiating through exit opportunities.

David’s responsibilities include the firm's financial management, limited partner reporting, regulatory compliance and administrative functions of Signal Peak and its related partnerships. David serves on the Founder's Board for the Entrepreneurial Program at Utah State University.  He is on the board of directors of Netaphor Software and also served on the board of directors for PS'SOFT, prior to its merger with BDNA.

David graduated with honors from Utah State University, receiving a BS in Accounting.
