Mike Connolly

Mike's deep knowledge and experience in the life science field makes him a great asset to Signal Peak Ventures.

Mike joined Signal Peak Ventures in 2004 as head of the New Mexico office.  He continues to represent Signal Peak on the boards of portfolio companies VeraLight and Aspen Avionics, and served as the CEO of Mirabilis Medica for four years.  Mike also assists the vSpring team with diligence in his specialty area of medical devices.

Mike has cofounded several biomedical companies, including women’s healthcare company Novacept (acquired by Cytyc Corp. for $325M) and biomaterials company Cohesion Technologies (acquired for $40M, now part of AngioTech Pharmaceuticals).

Early in his career, Mike served as a Navy officer aboard a destroyer and a physics instructor at the U.S. Naval Academy. He holds a Stanford MBA, MIT M.S., U.S. Naval Academy B.S., and Professional Engineer license.
